For little children who love to play this can be upsetting but there’s a solution, indoor playgrounds! Accra has a decent variety of indoor playgrounds where children can let their imaginations run wild and embark on exciting adventures. Here are my top 5 indoor playgrounds in Accra that promise endless fun for your kids.
1. Play Accra
Located in the heart of East Legon in Accra, Play Accra is a haven for kids seeking fun-filled activities and games. With its spacious indoor soft play area, colourful play structures, and engaging activities such as ball pits, slides, and obstacle courses, your children are guaranteed hours of entertainment and adventure. 2. Playrite
Playrite is a hidden gem located at Industrial Area next to Melcom Plus. It is upstairs in the Pizza Hut building and offers a fully air conditioned soft playground for kids at an amazing price. The bright and beautiful place has ride-on cars, ball pits, trampolines, a merry go round and lots more. My favourite thing about this place is the couches that are available for parents and caregivers to lounge on. 3. The Play Zone
If you live at or close to Spintex The Play Zone will definitely interest you. It’s a fun indoor playground for children at the Palace Hypermarket at Flowerpot on the Spintex road. This den of fun has all the amenities kids love! With so many shops around you can leave your kids with a caregiver while you do your home shopping and pick up the kids when you are ready to leave. 4. Ara indoor playground
Ara indoor playground is my absolute favourite. My kids and I love it because they have both an indoor and outdoor playground both located at Achimota Retail Center popularly known as Achimota Mall. Their indoor playground also has the largest collection of ride-in cars I have ever seen in Ghana. This playground also has a bouncy castle, trampoline, basketball setup and a lot more. 5. Zeeland playground
Zeeland is one of Ghana’s first indoor playgrounds. Located in the Legon City Mall right opposite University of Ghana, this playground offers a lot of fun to children of a wide age group. Unlike a lot of the other playgrounds this one has many arcade games for older children. They also have a reading section with many children’s books for curious kids. These 5 indoor playgrounds are amazing gems in Accra. Remember that there is always 1 golden rule with indoor playgrounds and that is to also have your kids wear socks.
