The summer holidays are practically here once again and if you have young kids like mine I can imagine you are looking for creative ways to keep them engaged! I believe in tiring my boys out as much as possible! These are 10 places in Accra that are good for kids between 2 and 10 years to have have. Most of these places have hourly rates but a few others have discounted day rates which is lovely if you want to stay for long. Please note that the prices quoted in the article from June 2026 and the prices may have changed when you go to these locations later in the year. I will also include contact numbers for your own enquiries.

Splash & Play Watetparks
From the same Safari group, Splash & Play are kids waterparks. If the Accra heat strikes sending your kids to a waterpark it the ideal thing to do. There are 3 locations you can visit namely, Airport Residential Area, Cantonments and Tema. The waterpark has many slides and splash buckets your kids will love. There is always a lifeguard on the premises so it’s perfectly safe. They also rent out the location for kids parties! Parents can also join in the fun on the sidelines or just lounge on the terrace. Because the waterparks are located at Safari International Schools they don’t open during school days. I would advice you call them when you want to visit.
